FreshFolio is a shared pantry and grocery list app for families, couples, and roommates on iPhone and Android. Invite your household with a secure link, and everyone works from the same live inventory and shopping list. How pantry sharing works
- Invite someone. Go to ⋮ menu → Pantry Settings → Member Management, enter their email address, and choose a role. FreshFolio creates a secure invite link and opens your share sheet, so you can send it by text, email, or any messaging app.
- They join. Opening the link on a phone with FreshFolio installed asks them to join your pantry. Without the app, the link opens a page with App Store and Google Play download links.
- Work from one list. Members add items, update quantities, check off shopping list items, and get the same expiration alerts you do.
Split the shopping without double-buying
FreshFolio syncs in real time. One person checks items off at the store, and they appear in the Purchased Queue at home, ready to put away. Items that drop below their Safety Stock level show up as low-stock suggestions for whoever does the next shop.
Roles that match your household
Every pantry has one Owner. When you invite someone, choose Admin (can manage items, settings, and members) or Member (can add, edit, and remove inventory, but not change pantry settings or other members). Only the Owner can remove members, transfer ownership, or delete the pantry.
Which plan includes this? Shared pantries work the same way on Standard and Pro, and you can always be a member of a pantry shared with you regardless of your plan. Frequently asked questions
How do I share my pantry with family members?
Go to ⋮ menu → Pantry Settings → Member Management, enter their email and pick a role, then send the invite link however you like.
Do pantry invite links expire?
Yes. Each link is tied to the email address it was sent to and can be used once. It expires after 7 days or when it's accepted, whichever comes first. The recipient must sign in with that same email to see the invitation.
Can I remove someone or cancel an invite?
Yes. The pantry Owner can do both from Member Management. A removed member loses access immediately, but everything they added stays in the pantry and its history.
Can I leave a pantry someone shared with me?
Yes. Admins and Members can leave from Member Management. An Owner must transfer ownership or delete the pantry first.
